A budgeting company approached us seeking solutions to enhance their business operations.

A budgeting company approached us seeking solutions to enhance their business operations. Their core business is managing budgets for other companies, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and various organizations.

Previously, they relied on spreadsheet software, which proved inefficient and time-consuming. They are now looking for a more stable and scalable solution to streamline their processes.

Information to be managed:

  • Budget Categories: Type of budget being produced for the clients

  • Expense/Income Transactions: Actual expenses income transactions

  • Revenue Sources: Sources of revenue needed in the KYC process

  • Budget Planning: Expected transactions for the next reporting period

  • Financial Reports: Financial reports generated for the customer

Our approach:

Our team implemented a solution using Airtable to meet project requirements effectively. We designed tables optimized for data storage and incorporated various views and interfaces for user-friendly data visualization.

We further integrated Documint to automatically create bills and financial reports in ready-to-print formats.

The final delivery included:

  • Database architecture: design of tables for each of the information types including formatting, data type selection, and linking. Furthermore, we added customized notifications whenever specific transactions were inserted

  • Dedicated data views: intuitive data visualization for quick data analysis and user-friendly data entry

  • Automated financial reports: Automated creation of financial reports leveraging Documint in traditional US Letter / A4 format combined with automated monthly send out to internal and external stakeholders

Impact:

With our solution in place, the client experiences improved operational efficiency, and reduced manual effort. The monthly task of manually creating and formatting documents is now completely automated and can be performed with just one click. Thanks to the increased operational transparency, our client now has a clear vision for enhancing their business operations.
